Why we created Simplybook
Simplybook was born out of our own experience as scooter rental customers in our efforts to rent scooters online. We found out that hiring a vehicle from a small or mid-size local rental agency can be difficult and time-consuming. There wasn’t any online marketplace where we could compare prices, and many of the websites we visited didn’t have a direct booking system. It was obvious to us there should be an easier way to book a vehicle for your holidays
Our team
We are a team of developers who love travelling! We always try to support the local businesses in the places we visit.
Our vision in Simplybook is to provide local rental companies with the online presence they deserve. Starting from the Greek market, we aim to connect all travellers who want to hire a car locally with small and mid-size vehicle rental companies.
FU-TOURISM Acceleration Programme
SimplyBook took part in the FU-TOURISM Acceleration Programme, which supports small and medium-sized tourism businesses in developing sustainable and digital innovations. With this support we developed LinguaBook, our AI-powered multilingual booking assistant, enabling travellers to search, price and book vehicles in their own language.
